Diverse... That's what describes Marie Gould's experience in the beauty industry.  Having 18 years experience working with people from many different ethnicity's and backgrounds, Marie has been blessed to enjoy many awesome opportunities in her career. 

Marie's work has been acknowledged with several awards, including Exceptional Standards in Cosmetology from Capitol School of Hairstyling for completing twice the requirements for graduation while in school. Also, she was awarded "Stylist of the Year" from one of Omaha's best, Salon Tino. Her work has been published in the Omaha World Herald Wedding Essentials Magazine, and is frequently called on to style for the Omaha World Herald Fashion Magazine "The Look", the Omaha Bridal Network Bridal Showcase Fashion Show, and many editorial and commercial projects.

 Her skill in styling many different hair textures has given her the privilege of having an ethnically diverse clientele, which she enjoys tremendously! She is known for her personal service and ability to help the communication between client and stylist be clear and concise.

A dream come true!  Marie Gould decided after many years to follow her heart and open a salon based on one simple principle, that everyone is beautiful, that everyone has their own personal beauty, and that the beauty industry should enhance that beauty.  Many things craft our vision of what is beautiful, and too often it is skewed by images from television, print and the internet.  However, few will ever match those images, and the Mission of Sanctuary Salon, is to restore the beauty that YOU have.

 There is not one single person who lacks beauty. Some of it may be depleted from life, but each person deserves to know that they are beautiful!
